Messaging & Reminders

• Text anyone in your contacts — "text Mom I'll be late", "let Gabby know I'm running 10 behind"
• Schedule texts for later — "text Mom happy birthday tomorrow 9am"
• Remind you — "remind me Friday noon to call the dentist"
• See / cancel what's scheduled — "what's scheduled?", "cancel the mom text"
• Introduce itself to someone — "introduce yourself to Gabby"

Calendar

• Read your schedule — "what's on my calendar this week?"
• Check for conflicts and add events — "add dinner with Mom Saturday 6–8pm"
• Writes go to your dedicated "Gilbert AI" calendar (syncs to your iPhone)

Email

• Send email on your behalf — "email Aunt Rachel happy birthday" (asks greeting / intro / sign-off first)

• Gilbert Chat (gilberthq.com/chat): open to anyone. A chatbot running on a small AI model on the Mac itself, no internet, replies stream in live, rate-limited per visitor
• Gilbert Chat, signed in with the chat password: saved chats (kept in your own browser) plus Law mode — answers drawn only from the captured text of the California Code of Civil Procedure (Part 2 civil actions, plus the Civil Discovery Act) and the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure, with every quotation checked word for word against the source and the source text shown alongside. Not legal advice
• The Vault: private password-gated zone for things you don't want shared
• Gilbert Plod (in the Vault): record or upload a voice memo — transcribed locally (whisper.cpp), summarized by Claude, saved as a note in the Brain, then chat with Gilbert about that recording
• GilbertHQ Edits: a log of every change made to the site

Fantasy Football

• AI trade analyzer, start/sit calls, and waiver targets — on live NFL data

• Morning picks text (8:30am) auto-covers in-season sports + soccer daily

Daily Briefing

Law Library (study seats)

• Check seats — "law library availability" → Early / Afternoon / Evening, X/15 open (Early 9–12:30, Afternoon 12:30–3:30, Evening 3:30–6:30)
• Book — "book evening" (or early/afternoon) reserves under your info; "book for me and ___" books a 2nd for someone else
• Schedule — "schedule an evening seat for tomorrow" → auto-books at ~2 AM that morning (slots open 11:59pm the night before)

People & Access

• Look up contacts, whitelist guests to text Gilbert, manage who gets your morning picks
• Switch which AI model Gilbert runs on

After a Reboot or Mac Update

• Everything turns itself back on once you log all the way into the Mac — texting Gilbert, gilberthq.com, picks, briefings, and the trader are background services that auto-restart on login
• They do NOT run at the lock / login screen — log in fully and give it ~30 seconds
• Confirm it's back — text /ping (expect 🟢 Online) and /status for a full health report, or open gilberthq.com
• The only thing that won't reappear is an open Terminal chat with Claude — reopen Terminal and run claude --continue to pick the conversation back up
• A reboot does NOT log Gilbert out of Claude. If /ping works but picks or briefings fail afterward, the Claude login expired on its own — run /login on the Mac (Gilbert also texts you at 6am / 6pm if it ever detects this)
